What You’ll DoProject & Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor project teams to deliver engineering solutions on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
• Manage and oversee project lifecycles—from design through to delivery—ensuring technical excellence and commercial viability.
• Guide and support drafters and designers to maintain quality and consistency in outputs.

Design Excellence

• Produce and review high-quality design and documentation that meet statutory requirements and client expectations.
• Provide clear design mark-ups, technical sketches, and design options for client presentations.
• Act as a technical authority across complex engineering challenges and feasibility studies.

Client Engagement & Business Development

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through clear communication and consistent delivery.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities, including scope negotiations and budget planning.
• Play an active role in client meetings, project reporting, and strategic planning initiatives.

Quality & Innovation

• Ensure all work aligns with our Quality Management System and industry best practices.
• Offer creative, cost-effective engineering solutions to overcome technical and commercial challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and team capability.

Professional Growth & Industry Leadership

• Mentor and support junior staff in their development and technical growth.
• Represent the business at industry events and conferences as both a presenter and a participant.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and career development through training and upskilling.

About You

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
• Registration: Professionally registered engineer (CPEng or equivalent)
• Experience: Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams and delivering complex engineering projects
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset
• A deep understanding of design standards, regulatory frameworks, and client expectations
