About the Opportunity

As a Designer (Civil), you will:

Prepare detailed designs and drawings using AutoCAD, 12d and Civil 3D for roads, bridges and drainage systems

Analyse survey reports, site photos and geological data to assist in project planning

Work closely with internal teams and clients to bring design concepts to life

Ensure compliance with relevant design standards, regulations and best practices

Maintain project documentation, including design reports, specifications and cost estimates

As a Senior Designer (Civil), you will:

Lead the development of detailed civil designs and CAD drawings, ensuring accuracy from concept to final RPEQ sign-off

Manage multiple design projects, ensuring deliverables meet deadline and budget requirements

Provide mentorship, review designs and share your technical knowledge

Engage with clients to present design concepts, address concerns and incorporate feedback

Conduct quality checks to maintain accuracy and compliance

Stay updated on industry trends, standards and best practices

Your Experience & Qualifications

Designer (Civil)

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in civil design or a related field

Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil) (or equivalent)

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

Experience with GIS software and data

Proficiency in design software, including CAD, 12d Model and Civil 3D

Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent)

Senior Designer (Civil)

Mandatory Experience & Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil design or a related field

Minimum of 5 years’ experience using 12d Model software

Associate Degree of Engineering (Civil) (or equivalent)

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:

Experience with GIS software and data

Advanced knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d model and other CAD/ design related software

Bachelor of Engineering Technology or Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent)
