The company is looking to expand its portfolio, and add key staff to support future growth.
Position Summary
Due to business growth Horizon Strata is expanding its team with an Owners Corporation Manager position at its office in Docklands. As an Owners Corporation Manager at Horizon Strata, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple owners' corporations. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with property owners, managing financial aspects, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You are required to exercise judgment, set priorities and schedule work to meet deadlines. You must display good time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively to clients.
Key tasks & responsibilities
Manage a property portfolio of multi-unit properties ensuring effective management and operation of the properties
Build effective long-lasting business relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues
Oversee insurance-related matters to include claims, renewals, and Owner's queries
Manage correspondence with Owners, contractors, and other third parties
Answer day-to-day telephone and e-mail inquires
In conjunction with the financial team, create and propose budgets each financial year
Coordinate and arrange maintenance-related tasks
Issue key notices as needed for the properties
Advise Owners on matters of Owners Corporation legislation and procedure
Manage disputes that may arise while working on a sound resolution
Run and attend Committee and Annual General meetings while also taking meeting minutes as needed
Key skills & experience
Proven minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to resolve problems when they arise
High attention to detail
Experience in working in industry related software such as Strata Master, Property IQ or similar
Word, Excel and Microsoft experience
Organisational skills and time management
