About the role:

We’re currently looking for a motivated Counter Sales & Spare Parts Support person to join our team in Bairnsdale. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, with some rostered Saturday mornings.

The role involves providing exceptional front counter customer service, supporting parts sales across our marine and caravan product ranges, and helping with stock control and dispatch. You’ll play a key part in keeping our service and workshop team running smoothly and our customers happy.

Day-to-day duties include:

Serving customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email

Assist Parts Manager with stock control, including ordering and receiving, stocktakes, merchandising and general housekeeping

Ensuring customers are serviced to their individual requirements

Quoting and selling spare parts and accessories

Picking and dispatching customer and workshop orders

Assist Parts Manager in promoting monthly product offers and accessories

Pitching in wherever needed – we’re a team and we help each other out

Supporting both the workshop and retail sales teams as needed

Answering incoming phone calls when required

What we’re looking for:

A good understanding of mechanical components (boats, trailers, or caravans a bonus)

Someone who is confident talking to customers in person or over the phone

Computer literacy – comfortable with email, stock systems, and quoting

High attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team

Willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards problem-solving

Forklift licence an advantage (but not essential)
