About the role

We have an opportunity for a Technical Support Administrator to be part of our Network and Security Platform Services, Technology and Communication Services Command. The Technical Support Administrator provides technical support and advice to users across multiple locations, platforms and technologies with an emphasis on exceptional customer service, coordinating and guiding the activities of Technical Support staff responsible for the operational maintenance of the organisation's ICT environment.

This role reports into the Network Performance and Governance Team within the Network and Security Platform Services Directorate, Technology and Communication Services Command

This role will work closely with the Manager, Network Performance and Governance to work on:

  • Strategic and technical assessments of the Network and SecurityPlatform services functions, service delivery and governance
  • ServiceNow catalogue adaptations
  • Contract & financial requirements
  • Analysis and Assessments with Platform Owners relating to largeprograms of work
  • Workforce planning
  • Resourcing requirements
  • Analysis of ServiceNow data and requirements

To be successful in this role you will have an understanding of the following tasks

  • Preparation and coordination of Issue Papers
  • Contract and financial oversight
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Director and SeniorManagement Team
  • Technical analysis
  • Creation of Purchase Orders
  • Vetting and onboarding of resources
  • Preparation of high-level project documentation
  • Conduct compliance audits
  • Undertake research and analysis of the Directorate
  • Knowledge on invoice assessment, allocation, and disputing.
  • Understanding of billing and service systems
  • Access to and ability to use BluePortal
  • Access to and ability to use RMS
  • High-Level of attention to detail
