Lung Research QLD (LRQ) is looking to appoint a Clinical Trials Administration Assistant to support our team of Study Coordinators within our world leading Clinical Trials Unit. The Clinical Trials Unit at LRQ conducts a range of advanced lung disease clinical trials from our community base in Chermside, and is a world leader in the recruitment and retention of clinical trials participants. The role will best suit a candidate with previous administration experience (ideally in the healthcare industry) who is willing to learn on the job. Full training and support will be provided, and the successful candidate will be able to adapt to the changing demands of a busy Clinical Trials Unit, and will fit in well to a dynamic, fast paced clinical trials environment. The role will include, but is not limited to:
Managing and preparing patient kits for clinical trial visits
Ordering and restocking clinical trials supplies and documents
Checking and confirming patient appointments
Delivery and collection of blood samples and CT scans from local suppliers
Completion of paperwork pertaining to clinical trials
Responding to queries in the clinical trials databases
Recording Pharmacy logs and calibrations
Site, patient and ethics filing
The role of Administration Assistant is vital to the smooth running of our Clinical Trials Unit, and as such the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, have an eye for detail and be committed to patient safety and wellbeing.
The role will be 3 days per week (Mon-Weds), and hours can be flexible to suit both the workload and the successful applicant's lifestyle.
