The Courts Administration Authority (CAA) is seeking a Digital Services Librarian to join the CAA Library Service team and lead our efforts in providing seamless access to our digital resources and services.
About the Organisation:
The Courts Administration Authority (CAA) is constituted by the Courts Administration Act 1993. The Act established the State Courts Administration Council as an independent authority to provide courts with administrative facilities and services to support the administration of justice.
The CAA provides services to the Supreme Court, District Court, Environment, Resources and Development Court, Youth Court, Magistrates Court and the Coroner's Court.
About the CAA Library Service:
The CAA Library Service manages the delivery of legal information services to judicial officers, legal practitioners and the public. The library provides a comprehensive range of information services and manages access to an extensive collection of print and digital resources.
About the Role:
The Digital Services Librarian coordinates the delivery of digital information services and manages access to digital resources. The role also provides user support and training for digital services.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of strategic initiatives to ensure that the CAA Library Service optimises the use of technology to provide contemporary and responsive library services.

Special conditions:
Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009.
Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory.
As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in librarianship or information management and eligibility for professional membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
Remuneration:
PO2 ($88,255 - $97,667 pa plus 12% superannuation)
