About the role

Full-time permanent opportunity to support the health of SA’s rural communities as part of a team coordinating a visiting health workforce of over 150 medical specialists, nurses and allied health providers who deliver essential health services for rural and remote communities in SA.

About you

As the Outreach Services Coordinator, you will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with RDWA’s values:

Duties

· Support the Manager Outreach Programs in achieving the program aims and objectives for the full suite of Outreach programs.

· Work with the outreach providers and local service host organisations to coordinate and arrange for delivery of services.

· Review service activity reports from providers to ensure services are delivered in accordance with contracted arrangements and to RDWA standards and investigate issues and opportunities arising from visits.

· Maintain up-to-date and accurate records to enable a high quality of reporting and information access.

Skills & experience

· Experience in coordinating the delivery of multi-faceted services in the health, disability, aged care, education, or social services sector.

· Ability to analyse and work with service data to inform service coordination.

· Full MS suite capabilities and high level administrative capabilities.

· Health sector, aged care, disability or education industry exposure will be highly regarded as will tertiary qualifications in business, health, social sciences or related fields.

The Rural Doctors Workforce Agency (RDWA) is a not-for-profit NGO supported by SA Health Department for Health and Wellbeing and the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing.
