About the Role

This senior-level role delivers cyber security architecture across a broad range of platforms and capabilities. Working closely with a high-performing project team, the position supports major ICT reform programs and ensures secure, compliant solutions are embedded in technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of secure architecture solutions across key systems
• Develop policies, standards and controls to manage risk and compliance
• Assess risks in greenfield and existing environments and implement safeguards
• Advise on governance and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISM, PSPF)
• Contribute to secure digital transformation initiatives using Microsoft platforms
• Build strong relationships across technical and executive stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cyber security architecture
• Expertise in risk and compliance frameworks in government environments
• Strong understanding of security architecture best practice and industry standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven experience working in agile environments and navigating changing priorities
• Tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP highly regarded)

Australian Citizenship & ability to obtain Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
