Your new role

As a Recruitment Coordinator at Apex Recruitment, you'll play a pivotal role in driving both business development and recruitment delivery. A key part of your role will be making high-volume calls each day to warm business leads, booking meetings directly into the Managing Director's calendar and ensuring all follow-up activities are managed effectively. Alongside supporting client engagement, you'll also source, screen, and engage candidates across civil, construction, manufacturing, and office support roles, building strong talent pipelines for current and future vacancies. You'll take ownership of managing the Managing Director's calendar, coordinating meeting logistics, maintaining CRM records, and completing light administrative duties that keep the business running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, phone-based environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes satisfaction in contributing directly to the growth and success of the business.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Confident phone manner with the ability to make 40+ warm lead calls per day
  • Proven ability to book meetings and manage calendars effectively
  • Experience sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates across multiple industries
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance business development, sourcing, and admin tasks
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate CRM records
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Recruitment or sales experience highly advantageous
  • Flexible availability to work 24-30 hours per week, spread across 4 or 5 days (e.g. 6-hour days)
  • Must be based in Adelaide to attend occasional in-person training and team meetings
