Track Safe Solutions Australia are seeking applications from potential candidates for the position of Safeworking Protection Officer (TOA Level) on the BHP Rail Network.

The role on offer is a casual position (with full time hours) with on going work, FIFO from Perth on a 2/1 roster.

You will be working along side a great team of dedicated, enthusiastic and hard working individuals that are passionate about rail safety and have the opportunity to up skill your qualifications.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assessing, implementing and managing the correct level of track protection required for various work groups to safely access the rail danger zone to complete their work. You will be responsible for overseeing the safety of all personnel on track with in your workgroup.

There may be a requirement from time to time for the successful applicant to perform physical manual labouring tasks and work across various sites in the Pilbara.

ESSENTIAL

· Proven Experience as a TPO

· BHP Track Protection Officer (Lookout)

· BHP Track Protection Officer (TOA – Track Occupancy Authority

· Strong Communication Skills

· Ability to Work Safely and Independently

DESIRABLE

· BHP Track Protection Officer (TWA – Track Work Authority)

Qualifications, Licenses & Clearances

· CAT1 Rail Medical Certificate

· Construction White Card

· First Aid Certificate

· Operate and maintain a 4WD Vehicle

· Current Western Australian driver’s license.
