Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 + Superannuation (18 months fixed-term; final salary to be negotiated commensurate with capabilities and qualifications).
About the role
As a key member of the Education Development Team, you will apply your insightful understanding of adult learning to develop engaging learning experiences for the doctors and nurses studying with SCCA. You will design effective, polished learning and assessment materials for use in both online and face-to-face contexts. Working with the Education Operations Team, you will also support the delivery of courses via administration of the SCCA Learning Management System (LMS). For this part of the role, you will ideally use your experience with Moodle LMS, as well as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to provide expert technical support.

About you
You ideally have qualifications and/or significant experience in learning design, instructional design, or similar areas which allow you to show off your creative side when developing learning media. You combine these creative skills with more technical knowledge and abilities which you use to support effective education content delivery as an LMS Administrator. Your personal attributes and qualities will include:
Strong creative thinking with an ability to solve complex education/design problems and a focus on continuous improvement of both learner outcomes and your own professional practice.
Significant experience with the latest learning technologies, especially Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Suite.
An ability to collaborate with subject matter experts who may have limited educational experience and availability.
Flexibility, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to work within a team in a hybrid environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
Experience with or an ability to work with medical and surgical topics and imagery.
