About the Role:
Our client is a large cluster of the NSW State Government, who are looking for a project officer with strong stakeholder and contract management system experience to assist in the rollout of a new contract management system (Beakon).

Responsibilities:

• Act as the key point of contact for supplier queries during project rollout
• Manage meeting actions, take accurate minutes, and ensure agenda items are followed through
• Drive project deliverables, track milestones, and report on progress (not an EA/admin support role)
• Use your advanced Excel and analytical skills for reporting, data validation, and analysis
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation
• Support testing, training, and change management as Beakon is deployed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in project support, coordination, or delivery, ideally in government.
• Practical experience with contract management systems (familiarity with Beakon is a bonus, but not essential).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and supplier liaison skills.
• Demonstrated ability to take accurate minutes and follow up on meeting actions (not an admin/EA position).
• High-level Excel and analytical capability.
• Strong organisational skills and able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
