MPI has been engaged by our leading owner/operator client to provide Underground Service Crew for multiple sites based in the Goldfields region of WA on an 8/6,7/7 roster.

The position is offered on a 6-month contract with the potential to extend and sign over permanent with our client. Pay rate for this role is $60-65 p/h depending on experience.

To be considered you must have the following:

Minimum 6 months experience in an underground mining environment such as a service or paste crew capacity

Valid Australian unrestricted driver's licence

Current Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights card

National Police Clearance within 6 months

Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

Duties involved but not limited to:

Carrying out operational tasks relating to ventilation, water, power, ground support, and compressed air

Operation of tools and equipment including elevated work platforms, integrated tool carriers, light vehicles and other hydraulically operated mobile machinery

Support efficient operation by providing reliable and accurate knowledge to minimise down time

Provide preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and organising the timely repair of operating equipment

Action tasks in accordance with environmental policies; control, contain, clean-up and communicate all environmental spills with particular attention to oil and hydraulic leaks.
