Underground Service, Paste, CHF & Projects Crew – Multiple Roles Available

Full time | $55 – $73 per hour + super | FIFO ex Perth or Geraldton

HSS Recruitment is seeking experienced underground mining personnel to join our client’s long-term project in Western Australia. Multiple roles are available across Service Crew, Paste/CHF Crew, Projects Crew, and Leading Hand.

As part of the team, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of underground services and infrastructure to support ongoing mining operations.

What You’ll Do

Install and maintain underground reticulation systems (Paste, CHF, Poly) including pipe supports, couplings, elbows, valves, and instrumentation

Build paste/CHF/brattice walls and coordinate works with surface plant teams

Install and maintain underground services including vent, pumps, rising mains, and pneumatic doors

Operate underground integrated tool carriers and other mine service vehicles

Assist with civil works such as formwork and concrete where required

Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and operational standards

What You’ll Need

Previous underground mining experience in Service Crew, Paste, CHF, Projects, or similar roles (minimum 6–12 months)

Experience operating integrated tool carriers underground

Physically fit and able to handle manual work in demanding conditions

Current manual Driver’s Licence and relevant underground RPLs

Ability to work in confined spaces and follow strict safety procedures

Dangerous Goods Card and Working at Heights ticket highly regarded

Leading Hand applicants require at least 12 months’ leadership experience in Paste operations
