Bills Marine Cairns is looking for a Marine Mechanic / Technician to join our team due to the continued growth and the number of upcoming projects in Cairns.

Bills Marine is Cairns only Yamaha Outboard Dealer and has been established for 50 years, we are consistently ranked in the top three nationally for both Yamaha Outboard & Quintrex Dealerships!
Our workshop is modern and fully stocked with Yamaha parts! You will be backed by an an experienced spare parts, sales & administration team to ensure you have the tools for success!
The Role
This is an opportunity to work with a great team that prides itself on only selling quality products and backing these products with professional advice and factory-trained after-sales service.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for the repairs and maintenance of late model Yamaha Outboards, we are selective in what we service and repair meaning our work is clean and professional, with a high focus on work quality!
Some of your day-to-day duties include:
Complete repairs and maintenance on Yamaha Outboards
Diagnose a variety of engine & electrical issues
Complete Outboard repowers, fit-ups and testing including electrical installations.
About You
Mechanical Trade Qualification ( Outboard, Motorcycle, Small Engine or Automotive considered )
Appropriate Experience with Outboards, or willing to be upskilled.
Australian Driver's License
Boat License
Ability to Work Autonomously.
Understanding of Safe Work Practices.
Physically Fit
Permanent Australian resident
Experience with Yamaha Outboards and a Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
