About the Role

Here at Electropica, we are a fast growing family owned business based on the Atherton Tableland. We are seeking a new team member with qualifications as a Motor Mechanic / Maintenance Fitter / Diesel Fitter to join our close-knit crew.

Electropica work predominantly across the Atherton Tablelands. The role will include travelling to various sites as well as overseeing the workshop with:

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintenance, repairs and pre-delivery of generators

Service, maintenance, repairs of compressors and blowers

General repair of farm and mechanical equipment, including welding and fabricating

Breakdown and on-site field service across the Tablelands region

Assist with electrical install support – sheds, undergrounds, property poles, and cable prep

Maintain job records and procurement tracking using simPRO

Collaborate with the electrical and management teams on joint project delivery

About You

As our newest team member, you will have:

Trade qualification in mechanical fitting or similar

Experience in maintenance fitting, diesel fitting, or equipment servicing

Valid Driver’s Licence (manual essential; MR or HR advantageous)

Construction White Card

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

Computer skills and basic understanding of Simpro or willingness to learn

Comfortable sourcing and ordering parts as required

A clear communicator and team player with a commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism
