About the role

Ouyen Automotive and Electrical are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join their team in Ouyen, VIC. This full-time role will see you play a key part in maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, ensuring our customers receive the highest quality service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles across a range of makes and models

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations

Test, adjust, and replace mechanical and electrical components as needed

Liaise with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and provide updates on repair progress

Maintain detailed records of all work performed

Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner

Roadside Assistance and possible towing.

What we're looking for

Qualified Mechanic with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the automotive industry

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and remedy vehicle issues

Excellent technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with customers

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service

Ability to work efficiently and within tight deadlines
