• Location: Hume, Canberra
• Salary: $34.05 or $36.05 per hour (inclusive of allowances and depending on experience) + 12% Super + Company Benefits

About the Role:

We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Maintenance & Hire Yard Operator to support our branch operations and ensure our hire buildings are maintained to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Loading and unloading materials and buildings
• Preparing, cleaning, and packing buildings to hire-ready standards
• Processing paperwork for installation and return of hire assets
• Conducting stock takes and maintaining accurate records
• Responding to customer service requests professionally and promptly
• Preparing buildings for transit and unpacking/cleaning ancillaries on return

About You:

• Proven experience in building maintenance and repairs
• A strong safety-first mindset and attention to detail
• Forklift license with experience operating large forklifts
• Open Driver’s License
• White Card / Construction Induction Card
