Council’s Activities in the Park program is looking for Activities in the Park Facilitators.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant, fun, and rewarding casual role that connects our community with free and low-cost activities aimed at promoting active lifestyles and improving mental and physical wellbeing.
We are seeking Activities in the Park Facilitators who can deliver engaging experiences with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong customer service focus.
Key responsibilities include:
Facilitating a wide range of inclusive and family-friendly activities across the Greater Shepparton region
Providing exceptional customer service to participants and community members
Supporting safe and well-managed operations of events, including set-up, pack-down, and equipment use
Promoting activities and engaging positively with the community on behalf of Council
Working independently and confidently with minimal supervision
Supporting the success of the program as part of a flexible and collaborative team
Key Requirements:
A positive, can-do attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
An interest in community engagement, health promotion, or recreation
Ability to work across a 7-day roster including weekends, after-hours, and public holidays
Committed, reliable, and able to respond calmly and appropriately in dynamic environments
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and contribute to a team environment
This casual position is suited to someone looking for flexible, rewarding work that makes a difference to community wellbeing.
Individuals who hold a Pool Lifeguard or a fitness qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.
