Position Profile: We are seeking a suitably experienced and highly motivated candidate to join our team in the Kimberley. The Director Business Services is responsible for effective management, leadership and provision of business services in the Kimberley. The occupant of this position participates in the overall WA Country Health Service (WACHS) business services reform program including the implementation, delivery and management of business reforms and business service improvements in the Kimberley.
Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia. Our core business is the provision of quality, accessible health services to country WA residents and visitors.
Business Services leads the development and implementation of systems and strategies for the provision of financial, business improvement and health information management services as well as financial oversight of procurement and contract management and information technology. Business Services drives continuous improvement in planning, processes and performance to ensure the delivery of performance-based services are professional and responsive.
