We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Assistant Warehouse Team Lead to join our warehouse team and play a key role in driving efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll work closely with the Warehouse Team Lead and broader operations team to ensure the smooth daily running of the warehouse. You’ll help coordinate order fulfilment, stock handling, and general warehouse duties, while also guiding and mentoring warehouse staff to meet performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the day-to-day operations of picking, packing, and dispatching orders

Support receiving and put-away of incoming stock accurately and efficiently

Oversee team performance, ensuring productivity and safety KPIs are met

Train, support, and motivate team members on processes and best practices

Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts with accuracy

Collaborate with the Warehouse Team Lead to streamline workflow and solve issues proactively

Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with WHS regulations

About You

Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (2+ years preferred)

Previous leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team

High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure

Physically fit and capable of manual handling
