Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef with a genuine passion for culinary excellence and a strong commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of kitchen operations, upholding the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, and leading a motivated and efficient culinary team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using various methods while ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

Develop and plan menus in consultation with management, considering seasonality, customer preferences, and cost-effectiveness.

Supervise and instruct kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and final presentation techniques.

Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and timely service.

Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.

Manage inventory and supplier orders to maintain adequate stock levels and seamless kitchen operations.

Monitor food costing and purchasing to achieve budget targets and minimize waste.

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Maintain food storage, stock rotation, and quality control procedures to uphold freshness and safety.

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, ensuring all tools and appliances function optimally.

Qualifications & Experience

AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field is required.

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
