We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career in the hospitality industry while contributing to a thriving and well-established restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership: Managing & leading a small team , training & motivating a team of professionals to deliver exceptional service and maintain high performance standards.
Extreme Customer Experience: Ensure every guest enterers & leaves the restaurant wanting to return & experience it all over again. Enjoys an outstanding dining experience by overseeing service, addressing concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Operations Management: Day-to-day operations, including hosting, opening & closing the restaurant, rostering, reservations using online systems, cashiering, table assignments, and service flow, to ensure smooth functioning during busy shifts.
Quality Control: Maintain the restaurant's high standards of food presentation, cleanliness, and service consistency.
Staff Development: Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Inventory & Procurement: Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely ordering of supplies.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain composure under pressure.
A hands-on approach with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and innovation.
A passion for hospitality, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence.
Familiarity with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification is essential.
