Senior Product Designer (Contract) – Fintech / Payments / Banking

• Sydney or Melbourne | Hybrid (50% office, 50% WFH)
• Contract to 30 June 2026 | $800 per day + super

We are working with one of the big 4 banks to recruit for an experienced Senior Product Designer to help reimagine and redesign a complex web-based platform in the finance/payments domain.
This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in end-to-end product design, from customer research and UX discovery to UI execution and design delivery. You'll collaborate closely with both the web and app teams to shape intuitive, user-centred solutions for a highly regarded platform used by thousands of customers.

What you’ll be working on:

• A major redesign of a desktop web product with an enterprise and financial services focus
• Owning and delivering the full product design lifecycle
• Working cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and researchers
• Partnering with the mobile app team to ensure cohesion across platforms
• Applying accessibility best practice – WCAG 2.2 knowledge is highly regarded

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5+ years of product design experience, ideally within complex or enterprise environments
• Strong background in fintech, banking or payment platforms (e.g. Bpay, PayID, transfers, bills management, foreign exchange, travel money, multi-batch payments)
• Proven Figma capability and comfort working in design systems
• Ability to lead research, wireframes, prototyping, visual design, and handover
• Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Strong eye for usability, accessibility and performance

This is a hybrid role, split evenly between home and a central office (open to Sydney or Melbourne based candidates), offering flexibility along with the benefits of strong team collaboration.
