Our client is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead this strategic initiative and shape their expanded market offering. In this high-impact role, you'll develop compelling business cases, identify market opportunities, and collaborate with customers and vendors to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive business case for investment in infrastructure, aligning with strategic goals and financial frameworks.
• Explore and evaluate market opportunities including strategic partnerships, pilot programs, and commercial models.
• Engage directly with customers and vendors to understand needs, co-design solutions, and build enduring relationships.
• Lead the development of responses to RFPs, tenders, and expressions of interest.
• Create and manage a strategic growth roadmap aligned with industry trends and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and delivery capability.

Experience:

• Ideally, at least 7+ years of strong commercial acumen experience developing business cases and market strategies.
• Proven ability to engage and build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading RFPs, tenders, or strategic proposals for large/enterprise-level companies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market, financial, and technical data.
• Prior experience within the construction, energy or utilities industry is advantageous
