The Role

As the Governance, Assurance & Reporting Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of governance, assurance, and compliance frameworks across the project. This is a strategic and hands-on role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and a deep understanding of regulatory and operational environments.

• Develop and implement governance frameworks, tools, and processes across project forums
• Lead compliance disciplines including probity, confidentiality, and conflict of interest protocols
• Coordinate assurance activities including Gateway Reviews and Health Checks
• Oversee records management practices ensuring retention of key decisions and knowledge
• Advise leadership on governance best practices and strategic policy alignment
• Partner with internal divisions to ensure compliance with relevant requirements
• Manage change processes including committee coordination, stakeholder workshops, and executive engagement
• Lead reporting cycles for key forums including the Project Control Group, Steering Committee, and Board

About You

You're a governance and compliance professional with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach. You thrive in complex environments and are confident navigating regulatory frameworks and stakeholder dynamics.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional experience in governance, compliance, audit, or risk
• Proven ability to implement fit-for-purpose governance and assurance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and change management capabilities
• Experience in managing reporting cycles and producing executive-level insights
• High integrity, analytical thinking, and a proactive problem-solving approach
