IT Project Manager – ERP Migration (Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Business Central) Sydney CBD | Hybrid Working | Contract

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a high-impact ERP migration from Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to Dynamics 365 Business Central for a well-established organisation based in Sydney CBD.

As the IT Project Manager – ERP Migration (Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Business Central), you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of the ERP transition project. You’ll work closely with internal finance teams, stakeholders, and technical consultants to ensure a smooth and efficient migration to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Responsibilities for IT Project Manager – ERP Migration (Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Business Central):

• Lead and manage the ERP migration project from Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Coordinate between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure milestones and timelines are met
• Translate business and financial requirements into system functionality
• Manage risk, scope, and change control throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure accounting module integrity and compliance post-migration
• Deliver project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates

Requirements for the IT Project Manager – ERP Migration (Great Plains to Dynamics 365 Business Central):

• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager delivering ERP migration projects, particularly Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and finance modules within ERP systems
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving ability
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid working environment and manage a mix of remote and in-office collaboration
