Empower Educators and Families to Support Children’s Development

As our School Readiness Program Facilitator, you’ll play a key role in delivering therapeutic training packages that build the capacity of kindergarten educators and families. Based at our Gordon Ave office, this dynamic role combines online and face-to-face facilitation, program development, and stakeholder collaboration—all within a values-driven organisation committed to strengthening communities.

About the Role

As a School Readiness Program Facilitator, you will:

  • Deliver professional development packages to educators and families through online and face-to-face sessions
  • Assist in the review, redesign, and evaluation of therapeutic training packages based on feedback and best practice
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data in line with accreditation standards and agency policies
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to program design and continuous improvement
Position Details
  • Casual opportunity suited to candidates available for evening work (5:30-8:30pm), with some daytime shifts as required
  • $51.13 p/h + Super + 25% casual loading

What We're Looking For

We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology and/or related Early Years qualification.
  • Knowledge of the developmental stages from 3- 5 years with a sound understanding of trauma theory and attachment theory, grief and loss and issues of a complex nature that impact upon a child’s life.
  • Experience in group facilitation via online platforms or face to face, including psychoeducational groups with professionals and service users.
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of the impact of social marginalisation and complex personal issues faced by vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families.
  • Ability to demonstrate culturally sensitive practice, inclusive of the needs of Indigenous, LGBTQIA+ and CALD communities.
