Since 2002, South West Local Learning and Employment Network Inc (South West LLEN) has been working with schools, businesses, and communities across the region to ensure that young people are supported to aspire and achieve the very best possible education, training and employment outcomes.

The aim of South West LLEN is to improve outcomes for young people, by increasing opportunities for their participation, attainment and successful transition to education, training, or employment.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

South West LLEN is recruiting a School to Work Program Support Officer to work with South West Victoria schools to help create learning and employment opportunities for senior secondary students in the region.

Hours: approx. 22.8 hours per week (0.6 EFT position, flexible to suit applicant's preference)

Term: fixed until 31 December 2026 (then ongoing, subject to funding)

Position location: Warrnambool office

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

1. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

2. Ability to work at a fast pace and meet performance targets.

3. Experience in CRM systems and capturing data.

4. Experience in dealing with businesses.

5. An understanding of the education sector.

6. Demonstrated experience in networking and advocacy.

7. Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check.

8. Current Victorian Drivers’ License.
