Dual Diagnosis Clinician
Shepparton Location | Part-time (3 days per week / 45 hours per fortnight) | Fixed term to June 2029

As our Homes First Dual Diagnosis Clinician, you’ll work alongside individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing instability, providing integrated support for mental health and substance use challenges. You’ll play a key role in empowering clients to maintain their housing, improve wellbeing, and achieve their goals - without being passed between services.
What you’ll do:
Deliver counselling and clinical assessments to clients with dual diagnosis needs (mental health and alcohol/drug use)
Develop and implement tailored care and support plans
Engage proactively with clients, building trust and promoting safety and stability
Work closely with the Homes First team and external services to coordinate holistic, wraparound support
Promote the principle of ‘one right door,' ensuring clients receive seamless, person-centred care

About you:
✔ Qualified in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field, with experience providing therapeutic support
✔ Skilled in dual diagnosis care and confident delivering person-centred, integrated support
✔ Strong communicator with experience working with young people and adults
✔ Knowledge of trauma, attachment and neurobiology frameworks
✔ Adaptable, open-minded and driven to create positive change
