Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting student success? We’re looking for an Assessments and Results Officer to join our dynamic team in the Student Services and Support Directorate!

  • Full-time, continuing position
  • Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas (on-site)
  • HEWL 5: $76,633 - $86,920 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits.


ABOUT THE ROLE

The Assessment Officer provides customer-focused services and information. The responsibilities of the role include the delivery of accurate, timely, compliant results provision and efficient assessment coordination. Working in a team focused environment, attention to detail and expert use of systems (excel and other MS products) will contribute to both staff and student experiences and outcomes.


QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree qualification or related experience or a combination of relevant experience, education/training.
  • Significant organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising discretion, judgement and initiative.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain effective working relationships, including demonstrated ability to negotiate, consult and liaise with staff from all levels of the University and students.
  • Effective computer and data entry skills using the Microsoft Office suite and other specialist student and learning related software.
