About the role:

Operating within the Enterprise Team, the Commercial Activity Officer provides operational support with a particular focus on assisting with drafting, editing, monitoring, and submitting industry and government tenders and non-research grant applications. Reporting to the Enterprise Business Partner (Research and Commercial Activities), the position monitors the Industry inbox and acts as the first point of contact for the team, responding to initial enquiries and directing tenders to the relevant personnel across the university in a timely manner and following approved protocols. The position also assists with the preparation and finalisation of tender documents and related materials, growing a sound understanding of the university's capabilities, services and areas of expertise in order to assess the relevance of incoming tenders.

Total remuneration valued to $101,464 - $109,838 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $85,739 - $92,815 (pro rata) pa (HEW 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
