About the Role and Whiz Kidz:

We are on the lookout for a nurturing and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at our beautiful new Whiz Kidz Sydenham centre. In this rewarding full-time role, you’ll lead a team of educators in creating a safe, calm, and loving space for up to 12 babies each day.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Creating a nurturing, responsive and home-like environment for children aged 0–2 years

Designing meaningful, age-appropriate programs aligned with the EYLF

Leading and mentoring a team of educators to support each child’s care routine, development and emotional wellbeing

Building strong relationships with families to ensure consistency between home and the centre

Supporting routines such as feeding, sleeping and nappy changing with attentiveness and compassion

Documenting learning, progress and observations using the Xplor Home App

Ensuring the room meets NQS standards, compliance and safety requirements

What We’re Looking For:

A Diploma in Early Education and Care (ACECQA recognised)

Minimum 2 years of experience working with 0-2 year olds in a leadership capacity

Gentle and confident leadership style with a genuine love for working with infants

Deep knowledge of early childhood development and care practices for 0–2 year olds

Clear and open communication with families, children and colleagues

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, Child Protection training and WWCC
