About the role
ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified Clinical Nurse Manager to support the Clinical team and residents at Yutjuwala Djiwarr Flexible Aged Care facility based in Nhulunbuy, NT on a permanent full-time basis.
This role is available at an hourly rate of $50.29 - $52.81 / hour + $20,000 PA bonus for your first two years of employment (add $10.12 / hour)
This role will see you accountable for the coordination and clinical care of our residents. You will provide leadership and mentoring to our Registered and Enrolled nurses including both directly employed and Locum staff whilst ensuring the facility operates in a high-standard, safe and person-centered care environment.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working and supporting aged care in remote locations. You will have a firm yet caring nature and be a hands-on person who is always willing to jump in and support the team when required. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a clinical / leadership role and ideally have prior experience and knowledge of Aged Care.

Skills and experience
To be considered for this role, we would require you to have the following:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
- Appropriate working rights for Australia.
- Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide management and leadership.
- Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
- Ability and willingness to relocate to Nhulunbuy, NT.
- Demonstrated understanding of resident centred and residential based care services delivery.
- Knowledge and experience in Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) – desirable however, not essential.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team.
- Knowledge of policy review and implementation for clinical governance
- Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills as well as skills in automated technology

Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) was established in July 2014 and provides aged care and community services in the Northern Territory. The services were previously managed by Frontier Services.
ARRCS operates eight residential care facilities with a combined capacity of 385 beds, and 11 community care programs in Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, Mutitjulu and Docker River. Some of the services are specifically for Indigenous Australians.
Our staff aim to provide Territorians with services that are responsive to people’s needs now and as their circumstances change.
