About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Administration Officer to join our Juninga Aged Care facility located in Darwin, NT. This busy and rewarding role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis at a salary of $33.22 - $33.72 / hour gross base.
The Administration Officer is a key support role to the delivery of our services, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring administration, and business operations are well-managed, and our visitors, clients, staff, and residents have an exceptional experience. In addition, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to our Residential Aged care Manager.
As the Administration Officer, you will be responsible for a wide range of responsibilities and requires a positive and proactive approach to your work. The successful candidate will be focused and enjoys working in an environment that is supportive to their colleagues. You will be comfortable in completing varying tasks and able to quickly prioritise based on operational needs. You will demonstrate strong work ethic and have excellent customer service skills towards both your colleagues and clients, family and visitors to our Aged Care facility.
This opportunity will suit a person who enjoys variety in their day and delegated tasks. You will be comfortable in working and being based within an Aged Care facility which will at times involve interaction with our residents. You will have previous experience in an administrative and reception capacity, you will have strong computer skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision and enjoy a busy and fast paced role.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience:
- Prior experience in an administrative role, with preference to a minimum of 2 years.
- Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload.
- Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge and experience with MS Office and other software databases, with the ability to lead the team in online programs etc.
- Presents as a caring and supportive person who enjoys working within the Aged Care industry.

- National Police Check lodged or dated within 3-months of commencement.
- Current year influenza vaccination.
- A NDIS Workers Screening Check received or lodged prior to commencement.

About Australian Regional and Remote Community Services
ARRCS (Australian Regional Remote Community Services)
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) was established in July 2014 and provides aged care and community services in the Northern Territory. The services were previously managed by Frontier Services.
ARRCS operates eight residential care facilities with a combined capacity of 385 beds, and 11 community care programs in Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, Mutitjulu and Docker River. Some of the services are specifically for Indigenous Australians.
Our staff aim to provide Territorians with services that are responsive to people’s needs now and as their circumstances change.
These services are available to older people, people with a disability, patients discharged from hospital or following a visit to their GP, and individuals and carers who are in need of support.
We help people in their homes, in the community, in our community care centres and residential aged care facilities.
