About the role
We have a new opportunity for experienced Security Officer to join our team in Alice Springs, NT. This busy and rewarding role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis and is at a salary of $54.20 - $56.67 / hour gross base dependent on qualifications and experience.
The role of Security Officer ensures the safety and security of ARRCS residents, staff, and visitors, as well as our premises and assets. This will be completed through security monitoring and coverage across our three facilities – Old Timers Village, Flynn Lodge and Hetti Perkins Home for the Aged.
This opportunity will suit a committed and hard-working candidate who has both a sharp eye for detail but, most importantly wishes to work with staff to ensure all possible is in place for the safety of our residents.
You will be flexible with your availability and shifts will include weekends. You will be comfortable working autonomously and be self-motivated.

Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, you must submit a resume identifying the following skills and experience:
- Hold a current Northern Territory Security licence.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (within 3 years) and CPR (within 12 months).
- Prior experience working as a security officer.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision.
- Presents as a caring and supportive person who enjoys working within the Aged Care industry.

About Australian Regional and Remote Community Services
ARRCS (Australian Regional Remote Community Services)
Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) was established in July 2014 and provides aged care and community services in the Northern Territory. The services were previously managed by Frontier Services.
ARRCS operates eight residential care facilities with a combined capacity of 385 beds, and 11 community care programs in Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine, Mutitjulu and Docker River. Some of the services are specifically for Indigenous Australians.
Our staff aim to provide Territorians with services that are responsive to people’s needs now and as their circumstances change.
These services are available to older people, people with a disability, patients discharged from hospital or following a visit to their GP, and individuals and carers who are in need of support.
We help people in their homes, in the community, in our community care centres and residential aged care facilities.
