Redfield College are seeking a highly organised and proactive Formation Executive Assistant to support the school’s Formation Department. This pivotal role involves delivering high-level administrative support while coordinating a variety of key departmental projects, events, and initiatives that contribute to the holistic development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Event & Camp Coordination: Plan and manage logistics for multiple Father & Son and Class Camps, including bookings, communications, transport, dietary needs, risk assessments, and follow-ups.
Seminar & Pilgrimage Management: Coordinate all aspects of seminars and pilgrimages, including speaker engagement, venue hire, transport, catering, and compliance documentation.
Spiritual & Community Activities: Support the organisation of Eucharistic Processions, First Fridays, and other religious events in collaboration with chaplains and parish communities.
Mentoring & Parent Engagement: Maintain mentoring records, assist mentors with family communications, and support parent engagement initiatives such as KPFs and class parent programs.
Administrative & Data Support: Prepare reports and statistics for board meetings, manage school communications, maintain internal systems (e.g. Engage), and assist Administration team when required with school-wide events like photo days and vaccinations.
Resource Management: Oversee the purchase and distribution of religious materials and manage content for the school’s TV/AV system.
This role is required to work 33 hours across 5 days per week, and in school term weeks only (38 weeks per year). Remuneration is pro-rated based on hours and weeks per year, and paid in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW (Professional and Operational Staff) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.
About You:
Technically competent - excellent skills in Microsoft Office and related technology; Web and Digital editing skills would be highly desirable.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks - strong time management skills are essential
Well-developed organisational skills and attention to detail
Professionalism in handling confidential data
Demonstrated ability to communicate openly and effectively with all levels of staff
Understanding of, and support for the Vision, Mission, Values and ethos of the school
Must obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check
