The Role

You’ll be our go-to person for executing and refining paid media strategies, working across Meta, Google Ads and Exploring New Channels. From testing creatives and audiences, to writing copy and analysing ROAS, you’ll help us find out what works best for our key customer groups and make sure our digital dollars go further.

You’ll also help us generate and shape creative content, from writing resonating copy to briefing in videos or UGC. You'll be data-led and performance-driven, with strong instincts for what will resonate with Australians aged 35–65 (our biggest audience).

Your Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Execution

Manage and optimise digital campaigns across Facebook (Meta), Google Search, Display and Shopping

Develop and implement audience targeting strategies based on demographic insights

Continuously test hooks, messaging, visuals, placements and bidding strategies

Assist the Marketing Manager to oversee six-figure paid ad budgets, with a focus on ROAS, CAC, and conversion rates

Run experiments and A/B testing to learn and improve campaign outcomes

Content Creation & Creative Direction

Write engaging, brand-aligned ad copy for digital campaigns

Design static creative assets in Canva or Photoshop

Create and edit Instagram Reels or short-form UGC-style videos

Maintain brand consistency across tone, visuals and messaging

Spot emerging content trends and translate them into testable creative

Brief and review content with UGC creators

Support creative planning for paid content — what we say, how it looks, and where it runs

Assist with on-site creative updates — uploading new homepage banners, updating product pages, testing lightboxes and creating campaign landing pages in Shopify etc

Work closely with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging

Digital Reporting & Insights

Monitor digital performance using GA4, Tag Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Google Ads

Use tools like heatmaps and user behaviour tracking to spot friction points and improve the user experience on our website

Build regular reports with clear recommendations to improve conversions

Track and share what creative and messaging is resonating with our audience

Use real insights to drive future campaign decisions and creative testing

Email & Lifecycle Support

Assist the Marketing Manager to create customer emails using Klaviyo — including product launches, promos and automations

Update and Test abandoned cart flows, welcome sequences, win-back journeys

Create content and layout for emails, including banners, imagery and copy

Monitor email KPIs and identify ways to improve CTR, open rates, and conversions

What We’re Looking For

You Bring:

4+ years in a digital marketing or performance-focused eCommerce role

Proven experience running successful, high performing Facebook (Meta) and Google Ads for a product-based brand

Strong understanding of customer journeys, funnel strategy and conversion optimisation

Experience creating and briefing in creative content (especially ads)

Strong understanding of CAC, ROAS, conversion optimisation, and A/B testing

Working experience with Shopify and/or Klaviyo

Working experience with AI tools for content ideation and time-saving automation

Proven experience with Canva or Adobe CC (InDesign/ Illustrator/ Photoshop) skills

Experience using GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Tag Manager and analytics dashboards


You Are:

A confident copywriter who can craft compelling ads quickly

Up-to-date with trends and tech, and use AI tools to boost efficiency

Creative, analytical, and always looking for ways to do things better

Data-driven but creatively led and understand how content fuels performance

Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines

Willing to roll up your sleeves and be hands-on where needed

Nice to Have

UGC campaign experience (influencers, content creators, video briefs)

Video editing skills for reels, tutorials or UGC mash-ups

Prior experience marketing a physical product in the home/garden or lifestyle space

Experience with Pinterest and/or TikTok
