Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager - Electrical to oversee the construction and operation of a solar farm & BESS project located near Dubbo, New South Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The role will be based on a 5/2 roster 10 hour days . Accommodation, per diem, and a vehicle will all be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.

- Project Oversight: Monitor progress, quality, and adherence to engineering design and product manuals. Collaborate with contractors to address any issues.

- Communication: Keep the Project Manager informed of progress, challenges, and milestones. Participate in weekly/monthly internal meetings and coordinate with contractors.

- Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Project Manager on project status, risks, and achievements.

Qualifications:

- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale solar farm construction projects or similar renewable energy projects.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools. Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy technologies.

- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage contractors and work collaboratively with stakeholders.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) and safety (e.g., NEBOSH) are highly desirable.
