About the role:

The Electrical Site Supervisor is responsible for on-site construction management to complete projects on time, within best practice and safety legislation.

This position has the strong capability to organise teams to deliver operations on time, to company quality standards, efficiently, whilst ensuring that teams have all the necessary equipment/knowledge and information to complete projects.

Roles and responsibilities:

Work with management to obtain a client brief in order to determine the type, style and size of the building or the space within the building that is to be designed, built and/or refurbished.

Organisation of the planning process in terms of designs, materials, building times and report to project manager.

Responsible for planning, organising, controlling and directing the construction of projects, as well as buildings and dwellings.

Prepare sites prior to the commencement of construction work (to set out the site and organise facilities).

Oversee building work.

Coordinate the physical and human resources involved in building and construction.

Consult with engineers, designers, and other experts to achieve project objectives.

Carry out site visits and oversee construction works to ensure compliance with specifications.

Adhere strictly to realistic project deadlines as assigned by management.

Lead the construction team to ensure best practice and timely completion of projects.

Conduct pre site checklists in order to establish the required safety requirements and understand how to safely complete the work required.

Use tools and equipment in line with their required use.

Ensure that tools are cared for, serviced, and removed from service if broken or unsuitable for the tasks.

Wear all required PPE.

Assist other team members when required to get the tasks done.

Follow up with issues as they arise.

About you:

You will bring with you a good degree of competency across all phases of on-site construction management, with the ability to complete projects on time, within best practice and safety legislation.

Based on your past experiences you will have a demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

You will have solid electrical supervisor, you will possess strong written and verbal communication skills with a can do attitude.
