We’re on the hunt for a number-savvy accountant who wants to jump off the tools and start running their own jobs. The role is ideally suited for Senior Accountants or Junior Managers.

At present, we only take on referrals and have around 150 family groups that we look after (95%+ business owners).

We're receiving plenty referrals for new clients and are on the look out for someone experienced who wants to grow with us.

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher qualification and ideally have 4+ years’ experience in public practice accounting. You’ll be a good way through your CA or CPA studies, or perhaps you have completed those studies. You'll have access to a $3k / year training & development budget.

The role:

You’ll have mastered the basics of compliance (you know how to do tax returns, financials, BAS’s etc), Xero is second nature to you, and you’ll be working directly with clients.

You'll be assigned as the main point of contact to a group of clients, and be expected to grow your client base under mentoring and guidance from our director.

You'll leverage our offshore team, spending your time ‘reviewing’ rather than ‘doing’.

You'll be expected to manage, encourage and mentor other team members, getting year end tax sorted, tax planning, and other rhythms we ordinarily experience in small business tax.

Over time you’ll be responsible for bringing new clients on board, right from their initial ‘Second Glance’ through to becoming a client.

You will have team members under you, preparing your allocated client financials, tax returns, BAS’s and other key documents throughout the year.

You will work directly with the director daily, and we mean that literally – you will shadow the director to learn how to add value to our small business clients.

You’ll be a call or email away from the clients if they needed help.

You’ll get all the technical and soft skills training you’d need to become one of the most impactful accountants in Australia.

You’ll know your clients’ business and family intimately.
