Sales and Account Manager – Wholesale (6-Month Maternity Leave Cover)

ABOUT THE ROLE
IMBIBE is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team on a 6-month, part-time contract (30 hours/week) to cover maternity leave. This role is based at our beautiful Byron Bay HQ and is in-office only – remote work is not available.
This is a unique opportunity to join our brand during a significant growth phase. For the right candidate, there is potential to transition to a permanent full-time role at the conclusion of the contract, based on revenue performance and business needs.
You’ll be responsible for leading new partner acquisition and onboarding, driving sales initiatives, and keeping our retail network deeply engaged with the IMBIBE brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify sales leads for hot partners to align with the brand and execute partnership with savvy sales techniques
Onboard and educate new retail partners with professionalism and enthusiasm
Maintain strong relationships with existing wholesale accounts (approx 300) with support from our full-time Account Manager
Lead sell-in of new product launches and seasonal campaigns
Monitor monthly sales performance and communicate insights to stakeholders
Coordinate marketing support and loyalty initiatives for retail partners
Deliver virtual and in-person consultations and account presentations
Assist with planning and executing domestic sales trips and partner showings
Record daily correspondence, sales leads and orders with our CRM system (Hubspot)
ABOUT YOU
Demonstrated success in sales and account management, ideally in beauty, wellness, or luxury retail
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Proactive and self-motivated with a solution-oriented mindset
Highly organised and confident managing multiple priorities and SKUs
Collaborative team player with a warm and professional manner
Ability to travel within Australia and pitch to high profile leads and educate existing partners
Current driver’s license required
Available for the full 6-month contract, with interest in long-term opportunities
