Salary: Starting from $60,000/year
Are you a passionate and confident educator ready to take the next step in your career? Buderim OSHC is growing and seeking one Qualified Educational Leader to support our junior program, and one Qualified Educational Leader to support our senior program. These are permanent part-time positions with a minimum of 30 hours per week, offering a mix of split shifts during school terms and straight shifts during school holidays.

👩🏫 About the Role
As the Educational Leader, you will:
Be trained as a Responsible Person
Lead and mentor a team of educators, delegating tasks and fostering professional growth.
Drive the development and implementation of engaging, child-led programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place framework.
Promote independence and wellbeing in children through our Ready, Steady, Grow (Prep and Grade 1) or Involved & Independent (Grade 4 to Grade 6) programs.
Uphold our service philosophy and contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and sustainable learning environment.
Additional non-contact time for programming
✅ What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2 years’ experience working with children.
Strong leadership skills and confidence in managing teams.
Ability to build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
A qualification from the approved OSHC list:
Bachelor of Education
Bachelor of Nursing
Behavioural Science
Community Services
Creative Arts, Fine Arts, Drama or Music
Early Childhood Education and Care (inc. School Age Care)
Sport and Recreation
Human Welfare Studies
Allied Health (e.g., Nursing, Paramedicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diversional Therapy, Speech Therapy)
💰 Benefits
Qualified educator rate: $37.86/hour
Split shift allowance: $19.71/day (during term time)
Annual salary starting from $60,000 (based on required availability)
