The Company
One of the Biggest Agriculture Dealers in Australia is looking at expanding upon its sales team in Southeast Vic. They have been operating for over 40 years and have one of the best reputations for delivering high valued equipment to major farmers and key contractors. They strive to offer equipment throughout the State of Vic and seek the best customer experience that all buyers enjoy when dealing the business firsthand. They have several staff that have been with the business for over 15 years and a have a very low staff turnover. This business has had some outstanding results in the last 12 months and from this they want to expand on its complete operation and take the business to number 1 spot in the industry. We need a true sales professional that knows how to manage the key networks and support the local farming and civil construction trade throughout Southeast Vic.
The Opportunity
This role is all about Relationships, networking and calling on new customer to build a network of customers throughout Melbourne Southeast out to the NSW border. You will need to sell your self which will means your years of industry experience and market knowledge and what’s happening in the industry brining it back to understand what the farm or farmer needs or wants from his machinery. Its then down to your experience to select the right machine to solve the problem at hand. This company does very well with trade ins and selling of used equipment. So you can offer customers this service that we trade out their equipment for new machines to make the process simple. Finance is also on offer and we have team based in Head office that can offer amazing rates to farmers.
Some of the reps have great success with other markets like local councils, golf courses, hobby farmers, wineries and garden contractors, The key focus will be the larger end of tractors and earthmoving equipment. You will also have a large range of machinery & attachments, here are just of equipment you can sell -
· Tractors – Wheeled and Tracked
· Earthmoving Equipment
· Buckets
· Utility Equipment
The tractor ranges start from 53Hp right up to 170HP and there is also news of even a larger range coming very soon later this year. You will also have Used stock to sell, and other machinery is needed but we can discuss that later.
Candidate Experience
· 2 + Years in external sales or more.
· Strong contact within the above markets
· Relationship builder with excellent negotiation skills
· Willingness to travel
· Truly passionate about the industry and have a love for the land.
· We might even look at relocation for the right candidate domestically not internationally sorry.
Salary Package & Benefits
We are offering a full package which is negotiable and we are open to discuss what you’re on currently on offer a stronger package that is better or offer an uncapped commission structure either way you will be very happy to come on board.
The VIC Management team can also offer structure and No micromanagement and give you the rains to make this role truly successful under your own terms.
You will receive all the usual benefits like company 4WD + Fuel Card, Phone & Laptop and training.
