Global Equipment OEM has built a strong reputation for delivering high end earthmoving attachments throughout APAC. Their equipment is designed and developed in Northern Europe, and they offer a full suite of products for all boom attachments. With an already established network and major customer like CJD, Hitachi, Komatsu Westrac, and many more. You will be stepping into a world that is built on reputation and high value equipment design. This role has been newly created due to the demand in the West and the constant growth of this area.

Job Opportunity –

This is not your average BDM role, there is an element of practical direction to which you will demonstrate the earthmoving attachment in front of customers. You first focus is to map and design a plan of attack within Perth Wa. You will support and drive new equipment sales through new equipment sales rep that work for the major earthmoving dealers. They sell the equipment to their customers that are looking to purchase new equipment and select the right attachment and apply this into the build price.

The second part of the role is that you can sell the attachments directly into the end user that already have machines for specialist projects, and they require attachments for up-and-coming projects within Westen Australia You can target market areas like -

· Utilities

· Energy contractors

· Government bodies

· Local councils

· Major civil contractors

· Mining

· Quarries

· Earthmoving fleets

· Hire companies

· Rail

Job Requirements

Provide Technical support to Sales rep on pricing, equipment’s applications and delivery of attachments.

Compile and deliver real time results to customer on attachments

Software trouble shooting technical issues with attachments

Compile and build key relationships through your network whilst working with new customer on site days and dig days

Drive new business across all market sectors

Machine attachment awareness through media, cold calling, site days and any means possible

Meet KPI’s and set yearly budgets

Work with head office to support equipment throughout WA & SA

Put in place key operational directives to secure and build trust with national customers and contractors.

Execute goals and set plans with the National sales and marketing manager and directors of the business

With this role being brand new and the market being unaware of the capabilities of this attachment many of the responsibilities may change over time as you grow and build this product line within Western Australia.

Candidate requirements –

5 + years within Business development within the Earthmoving machinery or attachment industry.

Strong contacts within the above market

Associations and relationships within the Earthmoving market

Technically minded and if you come with technical trade or have held a product management role this would really help as there would be technical support with customer included in this role

You must be living in the Perth area – Majority of your work will be throughout Perth suburbs.

Excellent communication and proven IT skills

Salary Package –

My client is wanting someone that can prove themselves and enjoys making this new Greenfields role profitable. The salary is negotiable for top performers, but it will come down to your technical commercial experience.

· Base Salary $110,000

· Fully Maintained Company 4WD

· Fuel Card

· Company Bonus

· Superannuation – 11.5%
