About the Role:

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our team in Marrickville. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a supportive and professional environment.

As an Estimator, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to develop cost-effective solutions for a variety of projects. You’ll play a key role in reviewing plans, managing supplier quotes, and preparing detailed tenders that reflect both client needs and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing tender documentation to prepare detailed scopes of work, cost plans, and quantity take-offs.
  
• Interpret architectural drawings, finish schedules and specifications
  
• Preparation and co-ordination of supplier and subcontractor tender enquiries
  
• Analyse quotes for accuracy and value
  
• Provide input on bid strategies and value engineering alternatives
  
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tenders
  
• Assisting in preparing shop drawings where required
  
• Liaise with clients on project and tender queries
  

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate that has:

• Relevant building /construction qualifications
  
• Previous estimating experience in the construction industry is preferred
  
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in quantity take-offs and pricing
  
• Ability to read & interpret architectural drawings
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word and outlook)
  

Highly desirable but not essential:

• Experience with Bluebeam software
