Contract Psychologist / Mental Health Social Worker – Flexible Role (Ashmore, QLD)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychologist (General or Clinical) or Mental Health Social Worker to join our trauma-informed practice in Ashmore, Queensland. They’re a registered NDIS, Medicare, and private health provider delivering a diverse mix of evidence‑based therapies, including CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, narrative, schema, and family systems therapy tailored to each client’s journey.

Conveniently located at on Cotlew St, Ashmore, they offer extended opening hours most days to suit flexible schedules. Their mission: reflected in their name is to help clients "weather hardship and grow back stronger," offering compassionate, personalised care aimed at healing and empowerment

About the Role

Location: Ashmore, Gold Coast, QLD

Employment Type: Contractor (flexible hours)

Remuneration: Profit share (generous 70% 30% split) or SCHADS Level 7.2 or above, depending on skillset and preference

Client Base: Trauma-informed mental health care, with a focus on individuals with complex needs. We work with all ages from 0 to 100.

What We’re Looking For

Fully registered General or Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Experience in trauma-informed care is essential

EMDR accreditation or training highly desirable

Strong therapeutic skills with a variety of evidence-based modalities

Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team

Professional indemnity insurance and ABN (if contracting)
