Role Purpose
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling our plumbing and gas services, including septic systems, heat pumps, and filtration solutions. This role also involves nurturing existing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing recurring customer revenue.
You will be required to effectively engage and build trust with a diverse range of clients, including:
Builders
Property Managers
Facility Managers
Domestic Homeowners
Key Responsibilities
Proactively sell the following key services/products:
Plumbing and gas solutions
Septic system installations and servicing
Heat pump hot water systems
Whole-house and under-sink filtration systems
Build and maintain strong relationships across a broad client base, adapting your communication and sales approach to suit builders, property and facility managers, and residential customers
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring high retention and satisfaction
Identify and convert new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and building sectors
Conduct site visits, assess client needs, and prepare tailored quotes in coordination with the operations team
Maintain a regular follow-up schedule for quotes, leads, and client check-ins
Promote recurring maintenance programs to increase repeat business and passive revenue streams
Meet and exceed annual sales targets (minimum $1.4 million in sales per year)
Maintain up-to-date CRM records, ensuring all sales activities and outcomes are tracked
Attend relevant events, expos, and meetings to represent the brand and expand networks
Collaborate with technicians and admin to ensure smooth project delivery and handover
Key KPIs
Annual Sales Target: $1.4 million in confirmed and invoiced sales
Recurring Revenue Growth: Increase recurring customer revenue year-on-year
Client Retention Rate: Maintain strong relationships and repeat business
Quote Conversion Rate: Track and improve % of quotes converted to jobs
Lead Response Time: Prompt engagement with inbound enquiries and referrals
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in sales (ideally in trade, plumbing, or construction industry)
Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first mindset
Confident communicating with a variety of stakeholders—from builders and property managers to domestic clients
Ability to understand technical solutions and explain them in customer-friendly terms
Comfortable working independently and meeting KPIs
Excellent communication, time management, and follow-up skills
Tech-savvy – able to use CRM, quoting tools, and email efficiently
Current WA driver’s licence
