This role is an integral sales role to the on & off-trade sales function of Drink Better Beverages, driving performance for our independent on-trade partners and key off-trade specific partners in Western Australia. The key responsibility is to grow business and relationships within the specified territory, managing distribution, volume, pricing strategy, brand education, visibility and promotional activation for the beverage portfolio to win in the on & off-trade.
This role also includes an active involvement in brand activation, event activation and a lot of end-consumer facing engagement.
Providing the right candidate the exciting opportunity to manage their own sales territory and make their mark in the beverage industry. With support from the management team you will take on the responsibility of developing and implementing your own territory strategy plan, defining and delivering your territory sales, distribution, promotional goals and commercial strategies for your area, taking ownership of growing the business and evaluating sales data to evolve your strategy plans.
This is a Full Time Position.
What you can expect:
Sustain and grow day to day relationships with all defined territory customers
Journey plan and prepare for customer meetings within our CRM platform in a time bound and organised manner
Work with Customers to deliver Business Plans and grow volume and value growth
Prospect your area for new openings and sign up new relevant accounts for our brands
Attend, plan and support relevant outlet events to represent Drink Better Beverages and its partners
Build strong internal relationships across Drink Better Beverages operations and work collaboratively
Commercial & Strategic Planning
Maintain a live strategic territory plan for internal use
Create robust Account Plans for top accounts and demonstrate volume and value growth YoY in line with key KPIs and in correct outlet segmentation
Negotiate and renew annual and seasonal commercial agreements with account(s)
Manage budget for your area to exceed objectives
Carry out quarterly reviews
Utilise the CRM system fully
Comply with all sales processes and tools
Always follow corporate and social responsibility guidelines
Operative Processes
Sell in products and ensure availability of the brands according to our picture of success
Maximize the prominence of our brands at each venue
Develop and execute experiences and/or brand activities that encourage the tasting and repurchase of our focus brands
Coordinate training of customer staff, account owners and consumers through tastings, presentations, etc.
Execute, manage and evaluate customer incentive plans for their staff and decision makers
Ensure that the pricing strategy of our brands is correctly implemented in each account
We are Looking for the right person that must have the following:
A sound understating of the beverage industry: production to service
Understanding of the West Australian On and Off-Trade
Established network of key individuals/businesses within local area
Successful track record of sales negotiations
Single minded approach to growing business
Collaborative and cross functional approach to working
IT and Social media experience and maturity
Strong Business Acumen
Current Driver’s Licence & vehicle
National Police Clearance
Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation or Higher
Desirable qualifications also include:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Event management experience
Adobe tools or similar experience
